Dear Supporters of the <100K Project:
I apologize for my too-long silence on this blog. Two weeks after my stepson got married, my father had a stroke and died a few days thereafter. I went out to Tacoma for a week at this time, and since being back have been sick, tired out, and emotionally drained.
Unfortunately, all this happened at the same time as I was supposed to be attending the Netwotk of Ensemble Theatres Summit in San Francisco, which was to be the first event of the NEA grant we’ve received. Obviously, I had to miss it.
In July, I will be traveling to New Richmond, WI for an event with Patrick Overton of the Front Porch Institute. He is having a series of workshops for rural arts leaders in northwestern Wisconsin that I will participate in. He has arranged for me to spend some time with LaMoine MacLaughlin of the Northern Lakes Center for the Arts in Amery, as well as meet with rural arts leaders to discuss their insights and needs.
So I’ll begin posting here more reglarly soon. Thanks for your patience.
No need to apologize. I’ll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and good thoughts, Scott. So sorry to hear about your father’s passing.
